March is one of my favorite months. Why? Because it signals the start of summer and it also happens to be my birthday month! I love celebrating and I happen to celebrate my birthday the whole month long. And so, to include you in my birthday celebration, I thought I’d give away a little something special from the House of Flair to one lucky reader/fan.

I love cooking and I love the complexities of spices. The smell of garlic and onion is divine but won’t ever eat onion and garlic. I cannot stand it that when eating I have to remove it one by one and put it aside before I start eating =)

1. I eat Turon with cheese. And it has to be the Ques-o brand or an authentic queso de bola.
2. I wake up every so often in the middle of the night to put lotion on my feet. And it has to be the Lander brand. Other kinds of lotion don’t quite cut it.
3. I call my battered old pillow since birth (which I still use) “Itchy-Itchy”. I can’t sleep without her. Yesss, talagang her. Parang tao! Haha. :D

1. I flip my hair a lot. To the point where it distracts other people. Guys think it’s adorbs while girls may find it annoying. T_T Whether people believe me or not, i don’t do it intentionally, its just that I’ve had long hair for such a long time.
2. I can crack almost every knuckle and joint in my body. Fingers are a given, I can also crack my knees, elbows, toenails. It makes me feel like a freak sometimes but hey, I’ve never met anyone (yet) who does those :p

This is weird but I ALWAYS (and I mean ALWAYS) imagine words in sticky caps in my mind. That might sound easy but it is my “personal rule” that i’s have to be in small letters and L’s and O’s have to be in capital. And yes, they ALWAYS have to sTiCkY. I thus rearrange some letters if the word/phrase isn’t normally sticky based on my rules (e.g. hello = LhLeO).

1. I like to put black coffee or hot chocolate on my rice with fried fish or meat and it will never be complete without banana ketchup as sauce.
2. I would like to sleep with pillows in my ears or eyes. I don’t want to be distracted from sleep that’s why I put pillows in my ears. I can’t sleep with lights on (can’t do anything because I sleep with my baby and lights should always be on) .

I have a lot of weird habits and the sort, like:
1. I read my novels with my fingers squeezing the spine in place – I NEVER get lines and cracks in my book’s spines. :)
2. I hate pink.
3. When I’m around people, I have this subconscious habit of not looking them in the face – I barely remember the faces of my classmates!
4. I don’t like being around women/girls – I find that their conversations and topics are far too girlish for me. I’m a girl – a real girl going strong with a real guy – I love wearing make-up, and five-inch heels. But I prefer a (familiar) guys’ company… :/

I know it’s not healthy and I really tried to stop but I literally can’t! I feel deaf and dirty when I don’t clean my ears. I try to cheat na lang: I tend to just rub the cotton buds on the entry of my ear canal. It’s really weird but it soothes me. :)
- I always try to read pocketbooks in one sitting. One time , it was brownout, so I finished reading the book using the light from the screen my cellphone.XD
-I always groom my brows, for me, it is more important to put brow powder than face powder. Brow powder is my favorite make-up.
-I don’t like other evaporated milk except for Carnation so if they are using other brands for Halo-halo, Mais Con Yelo etc. I buy my own can of Carnation evap to use for my halo-halo.
-I don’t like garlic and onion. (Vampire?)

That is an odd combination but I think I’m willing to try that out
I know this will be a little weird-o olfaction..I love smelling my mother’s closet every time she opens it, for the reason that it has a lot of ‘camphors’ or the naphthalene/ mothballs. I also love the smell of new, freshly painted walls and furnitures as well as the smell of ‘floor wax’. Sometimes my friends would just stare and laugh at me when we are passing in a hallway~freshly polished w/ floor wax or a newly painted wall, because I will turn out like a ‘rugby boy/girl’ high, sitting in the cold pavement.

. Because my sisters told i have an attitude of being an OC

So I ask my husband to wait for me to sleep before he can go to sleep. at the same time with lights on and I need loud sound on television for me to sleep. 
Am I weird?
First: I fixed clothes in our cabinet alphabetically in colors. (example: black should be the first one, then blue, brown, green, orange, pink, red, violet, yellow)
Second: I never leave the house or sleep before everything is in order. So sometimes my husband ask me to do it when when get back. But I can’t.
Third: I cant’ sleep if everyone is sleeping.

Well, I guess I can tell you that I’m addicted to DIYs. I go crazy when I discover a new DIY site, and I spend hours trying to decide which one to try first. :) Last thing I did was a chocolate chip bracelet made from homemade clay (starch, glue, varnish, and metals from the craft store) which I gave to my friend. :) You can see the pic on my blog post below..:)

I love sour stuff, too but I don’t put vinegar on everything
My quirk is that I am not ashamed of is that I can eat 1 whole (I mean all) cooked rice of the rice cooker without any leftover thats equivalent to 50 cups in a meal :D. I can’t help it I love eating rice but less meal.
Another quirk that I am not ashamed of is that when I was 5 years old im into makeups and I always play with it. One incident that made me laugh because I have a crazy childhood I taught clowns makeup was cool and really good. So I used all the lipstick of my mother red and played with it on my face and turned my self into clown. I put a lot of red blush on and white powder, eye shadows of all sort. It took me 5 hours to do it the least I can remember :)). Then my mom knocked on the doors and I was busted she scolded me and told me that clowns makeup are not nice and doing my crazy play made me look so dirty. But thanks to that I learned to put on makeup because my mom lectured me from the day i turned 14.

My quirks: I roll a bunch of hair around my fingers when I’m thinking (I think a lot) and whenever I want to fall asleep. (Imagine how it makes me look crazy C:) I also sang Jackson 5′s “I’ll be there” song as “Just call my name, Abigail (I’ll be there)” when I was a kid. :)

Guess I could say I also have a lot of personal quirks.
One, I like the idea of planning weddings. A friend of mine and I had this phase where we got ourselves addicted in scouting the web for wedding ideas and ended up planning personal weddings for each of our friends in secret (vintage-inspired, beach weddings, etc) depending on how we know them best. Weirdest thing about it? Both of us have NEVER had boyfriends (nor are we looking for one); we were imagining weddings without the grooms!
Second, I have this habit of being able to crack the bones from my neck, to my shoulders, to my elbows, to my fingers, to my back, my knees, up until the toes. Almost all joints, in short. It really freaks people out when I crack the bones in my neck because they can hear a loud snap that causes them to imagine my neck breaking. :))
Another strange quirk I have is that I can sense when there are cockroaches in the room. And when I say I can sense them, I mean I can sense them even when the room is pitch-black! At first I thought I was just paranoid, but my friend ended up proving that each and every time I thought I can feel a cockroach was in a room, there really WAS a cockroach in the room.
Finally, a little quirk I have is that instead of using cream on my tea, I use coffee mate. And if that does not weird you out, I also eat coffee mate (powder) because I find it delicious by itself. XD
March is my birth month too! Third week of the month. How about yours? :) ^_^

I buy my accessories from stores catering to toddlers and kids. My favorite is Gingersnaps. Love, love their charm necklaces. It’s quirkiness done in a lovely way.
I can’t sleep with closet/cabinet doors open. Even if I’m already warm and cozy inside the bed covers I get up to close them if they were left open. I’m that scared of closet monsters :D

I don’t find this odd, but other people do haha. When cleaning dishes, I smell them after washing. As in each utensil, bowl, mug, plates etc. Name it, I smell it.

I have a separate cup for use for my coffee alone. If I’m drinking another beverage, I use another cup or glass. But my coffee cup is just for one thing – coffee! :)
